Geraldine J. Sullivan, 78, of Janesville passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center surrounded by her family. She was born on October 26, 1938 in Milton, the daughter of Lawrence and Mattie (Banker) Stockman. She married Larry Stenulson Sr. and after they divorced, she married Daniel Sullivan in 1989. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was formerly employed by Diversified Building Maintenance. Geraldine loved music, especially singing karaoke and reading but her life revolved around her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. She was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Surviving are six children, Larry Stenulson Jr, Kim Stenulson, Jodie (Lee) Meyer, Brenda (Jeff) Ruef, LaVon Schwarzhoff all of Janesville, Steve (Nadia) Stenulson of Machesney Park, IL, five step-children, James Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Linda (Jim) Adamczyk, Tammy (Jeff) Gehrke, Todd Sullivan, 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel Sullivan, two sisters, Frances Dooley, Shirley Olson, one brother, William Stockman, her son-in-law, Nick Schwarzhoff and one grandchild.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Kozak, Dr. Shekhani, Nicole and Amanda from the Mercy Radiation and Oncology Department as well as the Mercy Transitional Care Unit.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Pastor Tom Zillman officiating. Entombment will follow in Milton Lawns Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
